HOW WE HELP › OUR PROGRAMS
Health Equity means that everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be healthier
At Sunday Friends we work to remove obstacles to health such as: poverty, powerlessness, lack of access to fair pay, education, housing, safe environments and health care.
Did you know: In Santa Clara County a family of four is considered low income if their household income is $110,000. At Sunday Friends the average family of 4 has a household income of $50,000. That's -$60,000 below current poverty guidelines. That's why our services are crucial to help families survive.
