DBM Lab is Sunday Friends' inaugural Entrepreneurship Accelerator, designed for family businesses that are run by Latino & Vietnamese low-income, immigrants within our community. Centering on families, our innovative and original approach combines entrepreneurship with education and strategic partnerships, cultivating a self-sustaining ecosystem aimed at securing long-term success for these family enterprises.
The Family Formula
Families are the very fabric for many in the Latino & Vietnamese community, bringing unique cultures, traditions and belonging. Through the establishment of their own businesses, families can create jobs, spur economic growth and generate opportunities.
In order to encourage multiple generations to participate and influence decision-making, in our cohort each family unit can include up to two members: one adult + a young adult, a youth aged 15 or older, or another adult.
Our formula enables families to advance their learning curve and comprehension, addressing each of their needs whatever they are.
