Community Day

Children build developmental assets, teens and young adults prepare for college, adults gain job skills, and whole families build assets together. On Community Day, families work together to complete activities that support their individual and collective goals. For example, children may participate in arts and crafts projects, while adults attend job training workshops. Families may also work together to volunteer in the community or to learn about new resources. Community Day is also a time for families to connect with each other and to celebrate their community. Families enjoy meals together, participate in games and activities, and share their stories and experiences.
