Program Team

Tia supports Sunday Friends as our Program Assistant. She originally found us as a volunteer during her time in college. As we transitioned to an online model during the pandemic, she stepped up as Virtual Presentation Lead. Eventually she grew into a role as Education Assistant and has been adding more responsibilities ever since. Tia is a child of immigrants and has lived similar experiences to those of our members, a fact which has endeared her to them.

She has completed a BS in Public Health with minors in Nutrition & Food Science as well as Child & Adolescent Development. Currently she is pursuing a Master of Public Health, with a concentration in Community Health Promotion.
