Program Team

If asked, Marilee would tell you that she was literally born into the Sunday Friends family. Her mother found our program while pregnant with Marilee and, to this day, they are both a big part of the community. In her time as a member, Marilee found the strength of perseverance and the courage to ask for help when needed. Having experienced so much kindness from volunteers and staff at Sunday Friends, she realizes the joy of paying that kindness forward to the next generation. After working as a volunteer for years, she is now a special member of the Sunday Friends staff and program. As a fixture of the Sunday Friends program, she is a true paragon for positivity, dedication, and kindness. Beyond her work with us, Marilee continues to follow her passion for working with children and has recently begun working as a teacher for middle schoolers as well.
